About Alchemy
My Story
From a dream to reality, Alchemy Studios and Salon was born out of a passion for creativity, individuality, and the desire to create a space where like-minded professionals could thrive. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to build something unique — a creative, funky, and welcoming salon that breaks away from the ordinary.
My dream has always been to build a community where creativity can flow freely, and professionals can truly express their artistry. After years of working in the beauty industry, I decided on an approach to support independent beauty professionals with a co-working space to openly run their own businesses under one roof. I wanted a space where everyone felt valued and equal, where we could collaborate and inspire each other, and where the vibe was as bold and individual as the work we create.
My Journey
Turning this dream into a reality was no easy feat, but I wasn’t alone. The first step was pitching the idea to my Father, who believed in my vision from the start. With his support and knowledge, we decided to take a big leap. He agreed to take me on as a business partner, and together, we set out to transform an old brewery into the funky, creative space I’d always imagined.
My Journey
It wasn’t an easy task — the building was set up as a bar, and it took a lot of work to gut it so we could bring this vision to life. But every moment of the renovation process was filled with purpose. From the carefully crafted layout to the custom-designed stations, every detail reflects the energy and creativity we wanted to foster. We were creating something more than just a salon; we were building a community space where people could come to feel inspired, relaxed, and truly themselves.
